Nylon. Of all the fabrics commonly used today,
there might be none that invokes a deeper erotic feeling for so many of
us. I know it, along with latex, does for me. And I assume it does for
many of you too. In all the time I've had this website, I've never ever got a comment from a visitor saying how much he or she would like to take my stockings off. And there hasn't been a single request for bare legs photos. So I know you feel the way I do. On this note I have something really exciting to share with you. Through a Twitter connection I found the most wonderful website. A haven for those of us who love nylon .. and legs, heels and lingerie for that matter. MyBackseam.com is a very new world with a very friendly user interface and a wonderfully classy look. But the really exciting thing about it is the people. Yes, I've joined many sites in my day but have never found a group like this one. And as time goes by and as content grows, this site will be  something you want to be a part of. And it's not all about
stockings. Pantyhose, garter belts, heels, girdles, toes are all
there. There's even a wonderful section where members post their
own candid "nylon sightings" captured out in public. Oh sure, there's a lot of reposting photos from the internet but there's also a lot of original content there too. And that realism makes it very exciting for me. No, it's not a t-girl site .. most of the people there are men and women .. but they've accepted me, and those like me, with open arms. The people are real, the dialog is very sexy yet intelligent, the photos are steamy yet classy and the blogs and stories are extremely hot yet professional. Lisa and Nick are the site owners. Nick has an unsurpassed eye for finding nylon hotness in the world and Lisa is sweet, intelligent and oh so sexy. And the best thing of all ... the site is totally free, There's no "this is the free part but if you pay you get this too" stuff. All totally free! No ... I have no commercial interest in promoting MyBackseam.com .. and you understand me well enough to know that it takes some pretty intense feelings for me to promote anything or anyone here but this is something I really feel strongly about. I met a new friend online recently. A very
young TS who lives not too far away from me. I won't tell
you her name because that's not important to you but she's one of a very
short list of very young trans girls that have left a very big
impression on me. She's as delightful and well spoken as as
Jessica Who
and has an attitude that's so different than most of the girls closer to
my age. The baggage and bitterness is not present; no chip on her sweet shoulders. She just lives her life 24/7 as she knows she should. I'm not expert on the pre-op or post-op thing although I do know several girls who have had the surgery and even more that are anxiously awaiting "the knife". For those waiting. the surgery is imperative; it's non-negotiable and the feeling is that life can never be "normal" until it's done. They wear this like a badge of honour and put themselves at the top of the transgender heap as though they're the "real deal" and no one is is. And a relatively high percentage of them will take their own lives after the procedure is complete. But why is it that a penis .. a relatively small appendage (in most cases .. hehe!) is such a huge roadblock towards femininity for so many? If we all walked around with our genitals exposed, then the world would see us in that context. But we don't. But here is a young person who truly believes that surgery wouldn't make her any more of a woman than she is today. And ya know what? I believe her. She looks like any other 20-something genetic girl out there, is very attractive (a hottie, actually .. whew), projects nothing but femininity and has the same spark in her eyes as her genetic girl friends. My new friend doesn't hate her penis nor does she think it defines her gender. And it doesn't. The brain is in charge of that. The transguys out there seem more capable of doing this. The surgery to make them fully functional as males is expensive, and the success rate is not high. So most move on, strap-on in hand, and give their brain permission to define their gender. Most are very successful and have friends, families and careers regardless of what's in their boxer shorts. My friend doesn't hang around with others like her .. looking for "support", whining about how nature dealt her a bad hand, and competing in hormone dosage comparisons and cup size competitions. She simply did what she needed to do to feel comfortable within her own skin. She understands womanhood totally and honestly presents like any other girl her age. No scrambling to look like she fits in. She does! Some of it might be the luck of the draw but a lot of it is definitely attitude. Is she lucky? Maybe. Is her timing good? Yes .. the world is so much more receptive today than it was not that many years ago. Is she courageous? Absolutely. But she could never be a positive example to those who struggle so much. They wouldn't allow it. I had always found the thought of hormone therapy and gender reassignment at a very young age to be worrisome at best. But I now understand that it's the right time to begin living as the gender you feel you were meant to be and medically supervised hormone therapy is a big help. Funny how a relative newcomer to the t-world can help an older girl put things in perspective. I hope I haven't offended anyone with my thoughts on this and apologize if I have. But since this is a free website, you can't ask for your money back. :-) |

I'm home. Exhausted but it feels great to be
back! My darling Kim and I got to see even more of the US and it was beautiful. We found Utah and Colorado breathtaking. The weather cooperated, and although there was some pretty ugly stuff around us, we had sunny skies every day except for two.  Here
is a photo of me doing what I did quite often. Yes, I tried my
best to tone down my look while travelling, and as you can see, I'm not
really good at it. But it seemed like the prudent thing to do ..
especially when I know I'll be using the restrooms in states where I
could, in fact, be breaking the law just by being in there with the
women. Anyway .. a little about my journey. I've always been intrigued by Route 66 - "The Mother Road". For those of you who are not aware, US Route 66 has been around since the 1920's and was the major route between Chicago and Los Angeles. It was also know as "Main Street America" because the road went right through the middle of many American cities. It was also featured in a television series back in the 60's. The road was also featured in a song written by Bobby Troup and performed by Nat King Cole, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Depeche Mode and others. When the Interstate Highway system was built in the late 1950's and 1960's, the old road pretty much lost it's relevance. But it's charm remains today for those who love the open road. It's no longer possible to travel Route 66 from Chicago to LA but pieces of it still remain, often right beside the interstate highway that made it obsolete. I decided that a Rte 66 highway sign would be a great photo opportunity for yours truly so I went in search of one with a background reminiscent of the old road charm.  And
I searched. Flagstaff, Winona and Kingman Arizona, Gallup New
Mexico, Amarillo Texas, Oklahoma City, Joplin and St Louis
Missouri for just the right photo ... and found nothing. So just
as I was nearing the end of the old road, I decided it was now or never
and took the photo you see here. The area, although quite beautiful, doesn't have the charm I was hoping to capture but it will have to do for now. I'll try to improve on this photo if I ever drive out west again. It appears that Route 66 signs are a coveted item these days and theft of these particular signs is very common. Many of the cities on the highway have now removed all of the signs like the one in my photo and instead are putting them up high with the traffic lights in an attempt to deter "collectors". hehe! So enough talk about travel. That's likely not why you're here. As I mentioned, the Viva Wildside event in Las Vegas was a lot of fun. And I look forward to doing it again some day. My only regret was that I had brought a ton of video gear all the way there and really never used it. I was hoping to recruit someone to operate the camera and the help me with my next video production but it seemed that the guys were too busy chasing the girls and the girls just weren't interested. Understandable though, since partying, drinking and dancing were their main reasons for making the trip. So I'm getting my rest now, I've done the laundry and am getting the patio at Casa Seleena ready for another summer. I'll miss having my next video ready for you on the first Friday of May but will work hard to get something shot soon. Lots of requests for "leg show" videos coming in so I'll likely do something like that next. I'll be posting an album or two in the coming weeks of photos, mostly taken by others, of some of our hijinks in Las Vegas but I'll try to alternate them with the type of photos you're accustomed to seeing here. Ohhhh .. heels! I recently bough a new part of heels from UK. Extremely slender stiletto heels and very pointed toes. I'll tell you about them in my next blog entry and will feature them in an upcoming photo album or video. Stay tuned! |

Las Vegas was a blast! Special thanks to Nikki
and Gina for organizing the entire week. I got to see some old
friends as well as meet some new one's. I'm not sure that Las Vegas was ready for us. On two occasions an entire casino went silent as we all walked from the hotel to the cabs. I guess it's all about being seen, isn't it? But the city treated us very well. Some of the girls did experience some negativity but it was from other visitors, and only from the guys. Most women think we're pretty cool. I found that most of the girls were very into dance clubs .. and Las Vegas has tons of great ones .. but me personally, I'd rather play "footsie's" under the table in a piano bar than shakin' it and sweatin' with the 20-somethings. But that's just me. Speaking of ass, here's a pic of me headed for the strip.  I
"limo'd" a little, "cabbed" often and walked way too much. But
there's no way to avoid that in Las Vegas. Even the walk from my
room to get a cab was a marathon.Will I do this particular event again? Not sure. Maybe my age is catching up with me but the dance club thing just isn't fun anymore and I'm still of the belief that a girl doesn't go out without stockings on. Old fashioned? Maybe .. but I like it that way, even though my style was somewhat different than many of the other girls in this particular group, where the boyish figure was quite popular. Soooo ... I know I missed a photo gallery update last week and promise to have something out there for this Friday. I only wish I could keep the video streak going on the first Friday of the month but a May 1st video is going to be pretty difficult. I really needed to do this trip and should be home on Monday. I'm in New Mexico right now and am hoping to get my life back to normal soon. I'll try to post some candids from Las Vegas as they become available. |

Day Six (on the road to Sin City):
I'm here! The last day of the drive was the most breathtaking of
all. The Zion area of Utah was gorgeous and the small area of
Arizona that I passed through might very well be the most rugged and
breathtaking the state has to offer; maybe with the exception of the
Grand Canyon. But the real excitement started when we got the the hotel. Met my dear friend Lola at the hotel registration desk and after a quick freshening up, we all met at the Wildside hospitality suite and took limos to PF Chang's for a wonderful dinner. Nikki, Gina, Ashley, Amy, Dale, Jackie, Petey, Glenda, Niya, Sandra, Lola, Angie, Emily, Rachel, Kate and Heather ... all gorgeous and smiling. Most went dancing after dinner, but the weariest travellers returned to the hotel. CiCi, Joey, Bunny, Nicole and LeeAnn will be here soon to join us. I'm not sure if I'll be able to give you a day-by-day recap on my activities here but I do expect to share some photos with you as they become available. |

Day Five (on the road to Sin City):
Wow!!! The view from the Seleena-mobile was surreal today. The Colorado rockies are gorgeous as is Vail and and the other small ski resort towns in the area. Temperature in the mountains was in the high 50's and very sunny, and the ski hills were very much alive. But things got even more dramatic in Utah. I've been a big fan of the Arizona desert for several years but I have to tell you; AZ has nothing on UT when comes to raw, pristine, mountainous desert. If I wasn't supposed to be in Vegas on Monday, I'd still be a few hundred miles east of here, staring in disbelief. Red rock, black rock, gold rock, blue rock with just a touch of snow for emphasis. High desert temperatures in the mid 70's. Perfect. I know .. you don't read this blog to hear about scenery and I normally don't write about this kind of thing but really .. everyone needs to see this once in their lifetime. Regarding the bimbo adventure; nothing eventful today. Interesting glances at fuels stops and rest areas but that's it. And travelling all day in stockings and heels is actually quite comfortable. But I'm not really a good judge of "comfortable or not". One more day on the road and I'm there! |

Day Four (on the road to Sin City):
Well, Kansas is ... Kansas. And it appears that storms provide a lot of the excitement here. Not fair to make that observation, I know, but I call 'em as I see 'em. Topeka did seem very nice though. It would be cool to return some day to explore. the sunny weather came to a screeching halt just inside the Colorado border. Some serious rain all the way into Denver. But it has stopped raining now and a gorgeous crescent moon is lighting up the sky. I think tomorrow is going to be a beautiful drive. Into the Rockies and well into Utah. Speaking of Utah, does anyone want to marry me? I think having multiple spouses is okay here .. but be prepared. You'll have to help with my stocking budget. *giggling* |

I'm into the "hunker down and drive" part of the trip. The weather is cooperating and the landscape is .. hmmm .. vast. I still haven't freaked anybody out and I'm happy for that. Day Two (on the road to Sin City):
It's the heels. It's always the heels! Not so much even the height .. many women along the way are much taller than me. But "click, click, click" into a restaurant or rest area and heads turn. Oh well. All has been cool so far. Although those signs that say "No firearms permitted in the visitor's center" are a little unnerving. Why would anyone consider bring a gun to the bathroom? In case there's no "tissue" and you need to get assertive? The temperature has been rising since turning southwest from Lake Erie and that city with the big arch thingy was in the low 90's today. Yum! Spring has really taken hold here. The truck drivers are nice to me. They like to try to drive beside me as I pass them .. I think to protect me from evil. Thanks guys! Had a quick visit and a nice dinner today and now it's time for some "chillaxing" before heading into the land of Dorothy and Toto tomorrow in the rain. "Ad astra per aspera" .. yikes! Latex wear would be appropriate except for the leather seats. |

I'm on the road headed for a "bimbo-thon" in "Sin
City"! Day One .. in boi-mode today because I didn't want any problems getting into the US. Great weather for driving but only got as far as south western OH after 8 hours on the road. But all is good! I hope to have some pics to share eventually but nothing yet. But you know, it's no wonder I tend to draw attention when doing road trips like this. Most women dress like they're going out to work in the garden when travelling. I know .. 'but I need to be comfortable". Yeah .. whatever. You're not exactly working up a sweat running across the country. Thank gawd I get to travel with my Kim. She's gorgeous, even when on the road! Sleepy now. zzz zzz zzzz |

It's been a while since I've updated my blog here.
I thought it was time I took a few minutes to tell you what's been
happening in my life. Although there have been a few "close but no cigar" situations, nothing much has changed for me. I'm still in search of a gig I can sink my teeth into. There have been a few close calls but in the end it appears I'm on my own to build something to keep my motivation level up. But I have no doubt that exciting things will happen. A couple girls have passed through my life recently and as I mentioned to both of them, my only hope is that they're better off for having known me. As much as long-term friendship is my goal, sometimes it's just not to be .. and that's okay. My video business is showing signs of promise and I'm working hard for nothing but experience and portfolio pieces right now. But I'm getting better at the craft so it's all good. I got to read a screenplay that a girlfriend wrote and was blown away with it's potential. A very gritty drama about "girls like us". In my dream world, I could work with her to make it come to life .. but in reality, I wish her well with it. It really is deserving of attention and recognition. The very short list of guys in my life are still there for me. I just wish I could be there for them too but I just can't be right now. I've been asked to help a friend rework her business and I jumped at the opportunity! More on this as my involvement becomes clearer. I opened the purse slightly to let some high heel money escape! I fell in love with a rather unique shoe line from the UK, but I messed up on the sizing when I placed my order so I'm waiting for the correct size to arrive. More to come on them, including photos, when they arrive. Very sexy stilettos! Ohhhhh .. before I forget to mention it, my latest video is out today. It's part 2 of my "Just Another Day" series. The weather finally improved enough for me to shoot some of it outdoors .. even though southern Ontario looks pretty gloomy in March. Hope you like it! And lastly, I'm beginning to prepare for yet another "Bimbo Across America" road trip. My darling Kim and I will be headed to the southwest US again, but on a little tighter budget this time. The highlight of this trip will be meeting up with the "Wildside" girls (and guys) in Las Vegas. I've met a few in person before and am looking forward to meeting many others who I've known only in the cyber world. I'm once again considering blogging the entire trip here on my site, including photos along the way, but am not sure how much demand there is for that. I also don't know how much energy I'll have each night after a long day on the road. And there will be one or two parts of the trip that I might not want to share with you (wink, wink). |

Spring is in the air! I know, "keep your
panties on Seleena! Winter may not be over yet". But
it feels soooo good. I spent a wonderful day in Toronto this week with my dearest friends and even got to shoot some outdoor video so the second installment of my "Just Another Day" video should be available here early in April. It was a humbling experience having two totally gorgeous girls help me with my video but they were kind to me and extremely helpful. Thank you Dina and Liane! I now better understand my limitations as a video model and will script accordingly in the future but with some careful editing I think I can get another pretty decent video together. Your reaction and comments will tell me if I'm correct. On another note, I've begun high level preparations for my upcoming "Bimbo Across America" road trip (haha!). More to come on that in future blog entries. |

I got a warning earlier this week from nice people at
Y! that I "might have" violated their Terms of Service, and
that I need to stop immediately or my account might be
terminated. They gave no other detail but included a helpful link
to a help forum. But the link is broken .. "page not found". Sooo there might not be a help forum available to help me understand what I might have done ... but whatever it might be, I need to stop it immediately or they might terminate my account. Well Y! .. to be honest with you, I might not care at all if you did that. I haven't done anything different there recently. Same behaviour as in the last several years; no abusive language, no porn, no confrontations, no "hate" talk, no threats. I'd have a hard time doing those things if I tried to. My volume there has been quite high recently ... "add me" requests, messages, etc .. but that's about it. And my profile is as honest as it can be. I don't even lie about my gender there, like so many of my "sisters" do. But in researching this very ambiguous warning, I learned that many bloggers and business people are of the opinion that the "Big Y!" has a thing for the guy runs the US. You know the guy. "Hopey-changey guy" .. (not to be confused with "hunky guy" from NY, who really is intelligent, handsome, sexy and honest .. inside joke <swoon!>). Simply disagreeing with "el presidente"" in their groups, forums, chatrooms (maybe even email and IM's?) is grounds for termination. Hard to believe, I know, but that's what many are saying. And the funniest part of it all is that it was okay to disagree (or worse) with that "W" guy; just not with the new kid. So the "conservative" regime was more liberal than the liberal one turned out to be! Who knew? Maybe my chances of getting invited to the Republican National Convention are not so far-fetched after all? Yahoo! oooops .. I meant woohoo! |

intended to be and has caused some concern with those who read this.

I thought about rewriting it .. paying more attention to how it could be perceived but decided that sometimes things are better left unsaid .. and my personal situation and feelings are one of those things. 2009 is drawing to a close. And what a year
it's been. The terrorists have succeeded even further in changing the way we all live. The "hopey changey" guy running the US has done nothing positive at all and has alienated allies, shown weakness to the bad guys and has spilt the country more than any of his predecessors. Terrorist attacks are on the rise. The economy is still in shambles. Political correctness is digging the hole even deeper. Checkbook journalism and partisan coverage is tainting the news we see and read. And the future looks anything but rosy for so many right now. On the bright side, maybe this is an adjustment we all need. But opinions are like penises .. everybody has one (don't they? teehee!) and my opinion on world affairs is definitely not the reason you come to my site. The New Year resolution I made at the beginning of this year was a horrible failure. I'm no closer to walking gracefully in ballet heels than I was in January so I'll make a different type of resolution this time around. I resolve to smile more! Simple, huh? I hope it is. People in my life come and go, and as hard as that can be at times, I resolve to cherish the moments as they happen instead of mostly cherishing the memories. Yes, cherish the moments as they happen! Joni Mitchell once sang "you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone" .. there's much wisdom in that single line. And Seleena K once said "if we were supposed to cherish things that are behind us, we'd all be able to smile with our butts". Not nearly as wise as Joni's line but you know where I'm coming from. Although Kim will always be the most important person in my life .. my one and only .. I really hope to also share a smile with you in the coming year. Happy New Year! Y |

An Exciting Couple of Weeks Although pics (still photos) have always been my thing, I've always been intrigued by video. Many have told me that seeing movement .. body language .. seems lots more intimate than still photos. So based on these comments, and my own curiosity, I decided it was time to upgrade my rather inexpensive video camera. And what better way to get familiar with it than to do a video for my site. Please check it out in my Video Gallery. Although I'm not that thrilled with my appearance in this one, I like the quality of the picture (even after YouTube's compression) and am proud of the job I did behind the camera .. lighting, editing, sound, music, etc. Hopefully the look and feel of my "story" is a little more "professional" and interesting than much of what you see out there. Comments are appreciated! On another topic ... in an attempt to provide you with some exciting "out and about" photos I've been searching for a photographer to help me out. Although I have nothing concrete to report just yet, I've made a couple contacts that are very promising. With their help, I hope to be able to add some interesting photos here in the coming days and months. The weather here is getting cold and the snow will be here soon, so I might get off to a slow start with this but it's coming. Since I obviously can't pay someone to do photos of me for my free website, finding a reciprocal arrangement is very important to me. Offers to "help you out" are wonderful and greatly appreciated but I just can't be benefiting from someone's good nature over the long term. So .. I'm really hoping that one of my new contacts can benefit from some of my abilities (not that, you perv!) in exchange. And lastly ... Dina Paige! OMG! I finally got to meet her and made a new friend in the process. Dina owns a service based in Toronto that's exactly what girls like us need in our lives. She's a Transgender Self Improvement Professional and is here to help us with everything from make-up to lifestyle coaching to photography sessions to referrals and references. 
Dina's a gorgeous girl with a sweet personality, has been through all of the "issues" most of us are dealing with and has emerged a winner .. rock solid, successful, happy and with an energy and zest for life that's contagious. Gifts for Moi? In an attempt to generate some excitement here I've decided that I should start accepting gifts. Over the last two years there have been quite a few offers to send me small gifts in appreciation for my continuing effort to keep this free website going. Although I was honoured by each and every offer, I felt the need to decline. I guess I was worried about having others guide my direction in some small way. But in declining as I did, I missed out on some wonderful opportunities to interact with those of you who value this thing I do. No, I'm not expecting truckloads of expensive clothing, heels, lingerie and jewels to appear at my door regularly. But a trickle of small tokens of your appreciation might help me keep moving forward. I've also decided that I would start considering your requests to buy some of my personal items and photos. I think some of you would like to wear the clothing you've seen in my photos and some would simply like to have them because it helps personify what you read and see here. So gifts? Send them. Would you like to send me something to wear in photos and return to you immediately afterwards? Let's talk. Want worn panties or stockings sent to you in a ziplock bag? Please let me know. Photo prints? Sure. I'm also looking at doing a calendar, creating wallpaper for your computer screen and DVD slide shows of my photos in high resolution. Not only will it help me to get a little closer to you, in all honesty it excites me to think that you're touching, caressing and smelling things that were once mine. It makes my panties wet! A Day of Remembrance -
Wednesday November 11th Okay, it's time to put away the stockings and heels for a moment and talk about something important. Really important. On Wednesday, 11/11 at 11 minutes after 11 o'clock we, in Canada, like so many other places in the world, will observe a moment of silence in memory of those who gave up their lives in combat for our freedom. In preparation for this event, me and most other Canadians have been wearing a poppy on our lapels. .. left side, over the heart. The poppy is a symbol of remembrance in my country and many other allied countries who contributed troops to the war effort in World War 1. Poppies grew in abundance in Flanders Fields, a battlefield-turned-burial ground that spanned an area from southern Belgium to north west France. I ask you to please take a few minutes to watch the very poignant Canadian video below to honour those who made the ultimate sacrifice so bimbo's like me can have the freedom to be who we are, regardless how controversial. Fashion versus Fetish As an observer of fashion over the years, I've come to a conclusion. Sure, this may be a well-known fact to others but for me, it's a new concept .. and the implications are scary. I've come to the conclusion that today's fashion in tomorrow's fetish. This is likely common knowledge to many but a revelation to me. I'm not sure if this can be an all-encompassing statement about human behaviour and sexual perversity but we, as pervy humans, tend to fetishize things that had a sexual impact on our development, often at a very young age. Guys and T-girls seem most likely to acquire a life long fetish but it certainly happens to women too. The dictionary defines a fetish as a sexual attraction to an inanimate object. Although I certainly shouldn't question Webster, that definition conjures up images of a lonely perv whacking to a pair of women's panties that mysteriously moved from her laundry basket to his at the laundromat. My definition is somewhat looser than that. I tend to think of a fetish as an attraction to anything that consistently conjures up feelings of eroticism in an individual, that is not already part of the male or female anatomy. Seamed stockings and high heels are a common fetish. Big red clown noses are a little less common <grins>. And fetishes are best appeased only occasionally, to allow us all to get on with life. Let's face it, if your fetish was big red clown noses and everyone on the street wore them, you wouldn't get a lot done. Therein lies the sadness to my observation, and you just know this is leading to a discussion of legs since I'm obviously a leg girl. It seems that when seamed stockings were everyday wear for most women, little emphasis was placed on them sexually .. that came later. When spandex leggings, tights and slacks went out of style (thank god), an increased sexual interest in "all things spandex" started to appear. And now that pantyhose are vanishing from everyday life, the pantyhose fetish crowd is growing .. and I can personally make this observation because I'm seeing an increasing number of requests for pantyhose pics on my site. Even Lady Gaga is careful to show the reinforced part of her pantyhose on stage to leave no doubt that she's wearing them. So, where does that leave us going forward? Bare legs, in my opinion, don't qualify as a fetish since they're part of the anatomy. Does the casual comfort-based look women have chosen leave the next generation of fetishists with a choice of cotton sweats, denim or microfiber? And regarding women's footwear .. flip flops, track shoes, fluffy slippers? Maybe schoolgirl skirts and knee-high socks will continue their popularity but the symbolism of that outfit is .. well, you know .. a little twisted when the admirer is older and might be more about role-play than fetish. So I'm calling on the fine hosiery manufacturers of the world .. Hanes, Wolford, etc .. to do something .. anything .. to revive their industry. If not in the interest of corporate profits, think of the next generation of fetishy pervs. Cuz if a marketing response to the downward trend doesn't happen soon from you, I'm going to start wearing a big red clown nose. |

Friendship Today I'm going to talk about friendship. Something I'm feeling a little short on these days. I've always been a very private person; someone who would rather have a few very close friends than a hundred casual friends. It's always been that way for me. But I never realized how important friendship was to my own peace of mind until recently. Having a close friend can be hard work but pays huge dividends, both to the heart and to the head. And although privacy is something that might very well reduce complication and drama, it isolates. I've worked so hard to maintain my privacy, both for myself and to protect those close to me, (especially as it relates to my gender bending activities) and I've been quite successful, only letting a very few to get close. But when you put all your "friendship eggs" in the one basket, things can change .. and they have. I lost someone close to me to an evil disease, a friendship or two faded when my work situation changed, another was lost when my feelings of friendship were met with something I perceived as infatuation and a little closeness was lost with another due to ... well ... I'm not really sure. And now I find myself in a situation where the close friendships has vanished. Due to my perceived need for privacy, I've been distant when many have reached out to me; partly because I was worried they would invade my space at an inopportune time, partly to avoid potential drama, and partly because I felt that having sex with me was their only motive. So my suggestion to all my "sisters in heels" out there, please try to keep some balance between your privacy and your social life, and please consider that when life gets a little bumpy, a "guy in a skirt" might be there for you to hold your hand. |

For the past couple of months, I've been following
Jessica-Who on Twitter. I believe Jessica found me
there, and as always, I checked out her tweets to see if a reciprocal
"follow" was in order. Wow, was I impressed! Twitter is used by many to bring attention to their "other" initiatives and this is the case with Jessica. Her tweets are always fun and include the latest TG happenings from the news and entertainment world but the excitement starts at her linked website. It's written with personality and compassion, and is updated often. Not all topics will apply to everyone but I honestly believe that you'll enjoy most everything there. Happy Birthday ... to ... me, I guess. SeleenaK dot
com turns 2 years old today. The last couple years have been interesting, to say the least. A big learning experience for me as I continue to do what I like doing while trying to measure your reaction to it. Sometimes your comments are an indication and other times I go to the page hits for insight. I was expecting that I would have found a clear direction for this site by now but this is not the case. So until that light goes on, I'll just continue having fun. I think my images have improved since I started doing this and I'm grateful for that. I've met some very nice people and received travel and gift offers. I've justified a bit more photog equipment yet I stilll struggle justifying the expense of video gear even though my "Just Legs" video has been a huge success, at least by my standards, on YouTube. I experimented with a message board, erotic stories and a site stats page, and my chatroom has been up, down and back up again. What does the next year have in store for you and I? Likely more of the same but I'll be making an effort to do more pics outside the relative safety of a controlled lighting environment, although I'm aware it may increase interest at the expense of image quality. I thought I'd share this with you. Some of you will
understand this intimately, and hopefully agree! A guy is walking the strip in Las Vegas and a fantastic-looking Vegas hooker catches his eye. I have a couple exciting things to share with you!
For a long time I've been considering buying high heels from an online store called "6 Inch Heels Forever" but have been a little concerned about buying directly from China and frankly I find their website a little difficult to navigate. Their heels are quite extreme, very unique and absolutely gorgeous, in my opinion. Well, I recently learned that they have opened a retail store in Toronto!!! I am sooo there .. but it might take a couple weeks to get there. I'm interested in learning how "walkable" some of their extreme arch styles are. After I go shopping I'll be sure to add a photo album or two here for those of you who are as into heels as I am. You know how I love the heat. Well finally, it's
getting hot here in the southwest. It's going from unseasonably cool to
unseasonable warm in about 48 hours. The 60's are leaving and the 100's
are coming! And better still .. the night time temperatures will not be
dropping below 60. That's more like it. Soooo .. it's not like I don't spend enough time each day responding to electronic messages. I'm making things even more complicated. Alt dot com, MySpace, Yahoo, Yahoo Groups and Yahoo360, Windows Live, YouTube, URNotAlone, FetLife .. and now Twitter. Some wise person once said that it's better to so a few things really well than do a million things poorly but I just can't resist. I guess I continue in search of the one social networking world that works for me. But when I reflect on this, I realize that this public thing ... fitting in, feeling comfortable ... is still very elusive to me. Within my primary relationship, things are fabulous as always. so I'm really in a happy stage of my life. But when I try to exist outside of that, things get very hazy and somewhat difficult very quickly. Sooooo .. in a nutshell, here's where I am. Struggling, as always, to find my public place. Making photos for you and for me, and maintaining a website with no direction. Is Twitter my "silver bullet"? I'm sure it is not. But if it's good for Ashton Kutcher, it must be good for me .. haha!. He's just attained the lofty goal of 1 million followers on Twitter .. the first person to get there. I'm hoping for a hundred, and a tiny, yet comfortable, place in the world outside my private life. We'll see. |

days on the road, I arrived on April 1st. Sunny, warm,

me in the desert I just got settled in time for my barbie to arrive from the Pacific northwest. We had a great time and I look forward to getting together with her again. So now it's relaxation, a little southern AZ exploration and hopefully a side trip to SoCal to hang with old friends, maybe meet some new ones and check out the club scene there. Time to vent. Those that know me, know that I prefer to shop on eBay. I find that the power of "feedback" works very well in assuring reasonable service. I'm really not after any special "exceeded my expectations" service. But it's quite difficult to get advice when buying on eBay so sometimes I leave the relatively safety of that world and venture into the world of internet vendors. I've had some frustrations recently with that I'd like to share. First off, I bought a "high quality" corset from Nightshade Corsets back in October with the intention of wearing it to the Fetish Ball in Las Vegas. Based on the advice I got, I ended up with the wrong size (I know, I'm a tough fit). Graciously, the store offered to exchange it. I immediately (same day) returned the corset and paid for another one. When my return was received I was immediately credited for it's cost but a few critical days went by (with unanswered email expressing my willingness to pay extra for expedited shipping) and eventually I was told the replacement item was shipped. Of course, the corset arrived after I left for Las Vegas. Well now, after only a couple rather gentle wearings I've noticed that one of the steel bones is poking out of the bottom trim. I'll try to have it repaired but honestly, I've gotten better wear out of a relatively cheap $200 corset and this one was substantially more expensive. My other frustrations is regarding MAC Cosmetics online. For whatever reason, my emails to them keep going unanswered. Twice I've had to resend, only to get a "thanks for your patience" reply. The delays have caused me to miss the big annual online sale, and I was planning to spend a ton of money. I've been told that MAC is "friendly" to girls like me so I imagine the problems might just be procedural, but who knows. I'm sticking with Dermablend. Vent-mode off! |

The new year is here, and really .. it's doesn't look or feel much
different than last year. But who knows what this year will bring. I hope you all took the time to make a New Year's resolution. (Is this a North American custom only?) Hopefully you haven't already made and broken yours. But if you haven't made one yet, maybe I can help. Try this ... resolve to do something this year that you've never done before. Maybe something you've only dreamed about, or fantasized about. Give yourself permission! Now I'm not suggesting you throw caution to the wind and do something that's potentially life-altering . Just something small but maybe something you never thought you'd have the courage to do. And whether it goes well or not so well, the feeling of excitement will remind you that life is as exciting as you make it. Me? My resolution involves hard work. I'm going to try to learn how to walk more gracefully in ballet heels! I don't expect to ever be able to wear them when I go to the shopping mall but being able to gracefully walk for short distances would be awesome. ---------- Now .. I'm starting to get a little worried. The US Inauguration is just a couple weeks away and my invitation still hasn't arrived. New dress and new shoes are ready, and my frequent flyer points are burning a hole in my purse. So someone .. help me out here! I promise to be a prefect lady and someone you'd be happy to be seen with. :-) Ohhhh .. it's not that I'm a fan of the guy who the big party is for ... on the contrary, actually. It just seems like it might be a good party for someone like me. The terms "Dominant" and "submissive" mean different things to a lot of people. And it seems to me that many are quick to label themselves and take on the behavior they believe matches that label. And personally, I find both types to be offensive. So this is why the following makes so much sense to me. Submissive? The holidays are approaching fast and it's time to get serious about
preparing. I'm giving a garterbelt and stockings to everyone on my list
this year. It's the gift that keeps on giving and you can
never have too many! And the guys on my list are getting them too. Oh sure, they'll pretend that it's a silly gift but alone and behind closed doors it might not be so silly. *giggles* And this year I'm not climbing down anyone's chimney. Squished boobies and ruined heels is all I have to show for it last year. And some wise guy left me cookies and milk with a note that said "for Bimbo Claus". Gimme a break! I was okay with the note, I really was, but milk? Now I've done a little forced lactation play in the past but warm milk in a glass? I don't think so. |

I'm still chasing around for permission to publish a few photos from my
recent trip to Las Vegas. So rather than wait for permission from the
straggler, I thought I'd just remove her photo and publish the
rest. Sadly though, someone else is in that photo and doesn't get
included although she had already given me the okay (Sorry Spirit! ..

Well, it's time for some changes here. After a great deal of thought,
I've decided to remove the two pages on this site that get the lowest
number of hits each month. So my "Site Stats" page and my "Erotic
Fiction" page are gone. I'm not surprised that the "Site Stats" page wasn't exactly popular. Intriguing info to me but I really didn't expect you to wait anxiously for the first of every month for the newest stats to arrive *giggles* . But I must say, I'm surprised that the Erotic Fiction page wasn't a lot more popular. Maybe it was my fault for not getting the updates in there regularly .. not sure .. but it certainly wasn't due to the quality of the stories. Every single story managed to make my panties uncomfortably tight. :-) Soooo ... to Samantha and Red Dawn .. thank you both so much! If the day comes when I can think of a better way to package your awesome work, I hope you'll both consider helping me again. Now for some good news .. I hope. I'm going to take another kick at a message board. The new and improved version will have a look similar to my Guestbook and will require no complicated log in. On a personal note, life is great! Home again. Time to get unpacked, do some laundry and reflect on a
fabulous vacation. And unload the camera! Although I really should have taken more photos at the Fetish Ball, I'm a very discreet girl and just don't feel comfortable posting pics without the express consent of everyone in the shot. But regardless .. the excitement that I felt would most certainly have been lacking in the images. So I'll be answering your emails, both here and on the other sites, and starting to prepare more photo albums to appear here in the near future. It's also time to start thinking about shooting a new banner photo with a holiday theme to be used here on my site for the month of December. As much as I wanted to attend the Exotica event in Detroit this weekend, it looks like I'll have to miss this one :-( . I still haven't fully recovered from my vacation. Having an amazing time in Arizona! The condo is great and the weather is
fabulous. I only saw a few clouds one morning and the temperature has
reached 90 degrees every day. The nights are quite comfortable .. latex
weather actually .. dropping down into the low 60's or high 50's. I was able to find the time to take a lot of photos for this website and spent some quality time with friends that included dinner at a fabulous restaurant. Thank you Mark and Sara! The people in AZ are quite environmentally considerate and do their best to make new  development
appear in tune with the surrounding desert. Yet for a high-end
restaurant and mega-dollar residential development, they had no problem
tunneling through a mountain to reach an pristine desert area only seen previously by
hikers and mountain climbers. Although the result was quite stunning, I
had mixed feelings about just how far they went to please the "rich and
famous". I know, "lighten up Seleena!".I looked at some real estate also ... not the kind that requires a drive through a mountain to get to .. but rather a relatively simple condo in a very nice complex in the foothills overlooking the city. Who knows? I may just end up spending most of my time there. But all good things must come to an end eventually, and it's time to return home to Canada. Hopefully the new corset that I ordered has arrived. My intention was to wear it in Las Vegas but the people at Nightshade kinda let me down. To all who have sent email to me or looked for me online, I've been reading all my email while away and will respond when I get home. |

Las Vegas .. there really are few cities like it. Larger-than-life. A
monument to excess. My trip this time was as exciting as any in the past. Kim and I got to spend lots of time with My barbie. Barbie took great care of us, providing the wheels for getting around, as well as booze to keep us loose. She also prepared a fantastic dinner for us, that we enjoyed along with a rather expensive bottle of wine that barbie picked especially for that dinner. And like the good maid that she is, she made us an after dinner drink to enjoy while she cleaned up. Thank you barbie, for a wonderful time! We went to Lee Ann's birthday party on Friday night at the Wyndham and I finally got to meet her. A gorgeous women who didn't miss any opportunity to get out her flogger. Nicole Lashes had invited us to the party for her partner, and meeting her also was wonderful. She's even nicer in person than she is online. Hope to spend more time with her in the future. Also got to hang with Tricia, Spirit, Shavonna, Shock and Amber (more on Shavonna and Spirit in a future blog update). Fabulous people I'd love to see again, although I'm a little sad that I didn't get to spend more time with Tricia. We chat lots online and I would have liked to continue that chat in the flesh. I stayed in a wonderful condo just off the strip ...  very elegant and
very secure (just ask barbie about her experience with Mr. Chuckles, the
guard at the front gate *giggles*). And although we turned a
few heads in the lobby, everyone was very accepting. The Fetish & Fantasy Halloween Ball was incredible. A feast for the eyes and ears. The continuous stage performances were Vegas caliber, but with a BDSM edge. Dancers and acrobats were everywhere and a "flogging stage" had a continuous stream of Dom(mes) and subs demonstrating their own particular style. But the most incredible sights of all were in the crowd. Although a small number were in  Halloween costumes, the vast majority of the
crowd was in fet wear. Ultra-high heels, garters, corsets,
fishnets, latex and leather was everywhere. And the group was a
little younger than I expected. Gawd, it was fun .. and so erotic! My barbie and I got many requests to pose for pics ... she was on My leash .. and, yes, we obliged. Even 'Fucking Gerry", the fetish photographer, took a photo or two of us. If any of you should see us on another site, please drop me line so that we can check out the photos too. Although we were invited to the after-party, we were hurting from a long day and a little jet lag so we left the Ball and headed back to our condo. But even the cab ride was an laugh. Our cab driver was a kinky guy very much into BDSM. As soon as we got in his cab he said "I smell latex! Who's wearing latex?" (in case you hadn't guessed, it was me .. Kim and barbie were wearing PVC). Sunday was a day to relax a little and do some "barbie bondage", and the day soon ended with our sad goodbyes. In a few days I'll be back in Las Vegas. It seems like it's been so
long, almost a year, since I've felt the excitement of the "City That
Never Sleeps". I hear the gaming floor calling my name. There's a birthday party to attend and a fetish ball too. And I get to see some friends again, and meet some that I've chatted with for years online but have never met. And from Las Vegas, I'm headed back to the desert in southern AZ. Again, I'll spend some time with friends and hope to meet another online friend or two. I had hoped to hook up with a photographer there to do some photos for this site but it doesn't look like it's gonna happen. As always, I'll continue to watch my email and do my regular website updates while I'm away. Well, ya just never know who looks at (and in this case, listens to)
your online stuff. I've had this little video on YouTube for the last
couple years. It's more of a slide show than a video really .. made up
of still images dissolving into each other, and put to music. As of
today, the video
has received over 56,000 views. I was informed today by YouTube that my video has been blocked because of a copyright infringement claim against the audio track by UMG. Although I was able to quickly replace the audio with a copyright-free song provided by YouTube, the video just isn't the same. The song in question was ''November Rain" .. one of my favorite songs. Was I wrong to use it? Absolutely .. and I sincerely apologize to GnR for doing that. I guess I thought of it more as a tribute to an awesome song. And it doesn't matter if they took exception with my use of the song because I'm a T-girl or not .. I apologize to the band, Universal Music Group and/or the song owner. And for the record, I still think Mr. Rose is kinda cute! |

Now I'm starting to worry. I know you didn't come to this site to hear
more gloom and doom about what's going on with the world economy but
this is finally starting to scare me, and it may impact this website. I've booked and paid for a trip to the desert for later this month, and will certainly have a great time in both Las Vegas and southern Arizona, but if I had realized that things would get this bad, I really wouldn't have done this one. And for the first time, I'm seriously considering making this site into a pay site to help pay for the operating costs and to keep the wardrobe fresh. Anyone want to provide me with some high-level legal advice regarding this? Although the federal election here in Canada on the 14th should be inconsequential, the one in the US in November can cause the pendulum to swing so far in the other direction that it flies off into oblivion. Stop the insanity! If I'm going to have to start selling my cheap ass on street corners, I'm going to need lots of fishnets, and there are costs associated with that. *giggling* On a more positive note, I've just published a photo album that is a little more "personal" than the stuff I've been sharing. Wow .. the financial world may be falling apart but the fetish events

Happy Birthday seleenak.com!! This website is one year old today!
In the last year, it's grown from nothing to something small and insignificant ... hahaha! But it's grown, and continues to grow, and I'm happy with the progress. Oh sure, I had visions of something bigger and more popular by this time but reality showed me that nothing comes easy. There are just so many sites out there that offer more than mine does. You see, this site falls into a category that only appeals to a small segment of the surfing public. She-male sites, with cocks and boobies everywhere, attract the "show me it all and show me now" group. And the advice-based groups have their own market. The strictly-bondage sites cater to specific interests and are quite popular too. And other personal sites feature girls who are younger and much prettier than me. It seems that I offer slightly higher quality images and a flare for style that might be a little above the average, but that's about it. Would I have done anything differently in hindsight? Not really but I had hoped that by now the site would have found a narrower scope based on the kind of stuff I enjoy doing and the feedback I get. But my interests haven't become focused and the feedback has been light. I worry sometimes that I appear arrogant, and the all-about-me thing is something I struggle with. Since this site really is all about me, it's hard not to come across this way ... but please know it's a little out of character for me being the center of attention .. even on my own website. I've tried some things here that have worked, and tried some things that haven't worked .. and I learned lots and continue to learn .. to learn a little about me and a little about you. Soooo ... are there changes planned for the next year? Yes. Not sure what they are yet, but things will likely change. Will this become a pay site? Possibly, but the free content you see today will not decrease. The small-ish mouse-over pics would continue here although larger, hi-resolution, easily savable photos might be available for a small subscription fee. Will it become a "leg site", featuring mostly just stockings, heels, feet? Maybe. Will it become more x-rated? Possibly, but not likely. Will it vanish completely? That's possible too. But I look forward to whatever the next year brings, whatever that may be. In closing, thank you so much for helping me to keep this thing alive. Well .. I'm back to doing weekly updates to my Photo Gallery again! I
just published one, have three "in the can" and have ideas for many
others. In a couple of the photo sets I'm wearing something more formal;
in the third I'm wearing latex. My friend Michaela has moved to Buenos Aries. Many of you knew her as "Hailleigh", formerly of Toronto. We correspond regularly and she seems to be adjusting to the new culture. And the culture that she describes is quite different. It sounds quite scary to me but Michaela has a lot more courage than I do. I wish her well, and know she'll succeed there but I can't help but worry about her. |

Whiney Bimbo Rant Maybe it's the "dog days of summer". Maybe it's the next step in my evolution. Maybe I've been looking in the wrong places. Maybe it's my new-found freedom (I have a lot more available time now). Maybe it's the difficult July gone by. But my motivation and creativity are at a low point. Thank gawd for Kim. She's always been the most consistent, most supportive force in my life. I know I'm motivated by commitment. When I worked, I was committed to my job, my company, and I think I did well. And I was looking for this project, this little website, to take it's place. It has, and it's hasn't. One thing I learned about doing this site .... I'm doing it alone. Although I find it exciting, that excitement is hard to maintain when everyone else seems indifferent. I know, if I'm not doing it for myself I shouldn't be doing it at all. And maybe that's the harsh reality. So I need to dig down to find something in here that "turns my crank". Something that keeps me going. It may be time for some changes. I've been thinking long and hard lately about my chatroom .. the one here on this site. It may have outlived it's usefulness. I dunno. The message board that I scrapped several months ago. I've learned a lot about website building in the last year and could now come up with something that's much more user-friendly. Maybe it needs to come back. I dunno. Business. The commitment and excitement I might feel when I'm providing a service could be all the motivation I need. A pay site? Merchandise sales? Photog services? I dunno, but rest assured that if I venture into this area, I'll be totally professional. Hmmm .. excitement! Maybe that's it. I'm beginning to feel that if I don't generate some soon ... well, you know. My site is coming up on it's one year anniversary in a couple weeks and I've gone from an average of 6 hits per day in the first month to just under 150 hits per day now, and I've had over 17,000 people enter via my main page. Okay, but not great. Please know that I'm aware I'm behind on my Photo Gallery updates, but I've shot quite a bit yet don't feel that I've done anything worthy of being here. So .. change the site or change my attitude regarding it. Something's needs to change. I owe it to you .. and to myself. |

Social networking rant Well, I've done it again .. even though I promised myself that I wouldn't. I've joined yet another social networking website. Not that many years ago, girls like me felt alone .. as though they were the only one's with this passion. Contact magazines and adult bookstores provided the only opportunity to meet others, and it wasn't pretty. Then along came computers and telecommunications, and everything changed. Bulletin boards and IRC chat quickly illustrated that there are others like us out there. And they weren't all the stereotypical "SheMales" with the gigantic implants and huge cocks. Feelings of optimism and excitement sweep over us. Phone line connections gave us the opportunity to connect to others but the time necessary for modems to connect and slow download speeds meant we had to stop and think about where we were going before we went there. The high speed connection and the Internet emerged. And we then had the ability to perv more websites in a minute that we could in an entire evening. And everyone's fingers was trying to find our purses, try to squeeze money from us. Social networking sites, sites where people of similar interests can share and socialize, began to spring up .. and the number of them out there continues to grow, even today. The dust hasn't settled yet, and no winners have been declared in the race to be THE networking site. So much for the "history according to Bimbo". I have my hands full. I have a Yahoo360 presence I'd like to put to sleep (except that it brings a fair amount of traffic to this website), a URNA profile I look in on every month of so, a YouTube video account, a Facebook profile for my male side, an Alt dot com membership (that has given me the most real life contacts as well as my very best, and very worst, chatroom experiences), and Instant Messaging profiles on both MSN and Yahoo. I still belong to several Yahoo "special interest" groups but always fall behind on their posts. I've also turned down numerous requests to "Join Me" on countless other sites. And I have this website ... photo gallery updates, bi-weekly chat and this blog. It's the thing I'm most committed to right now. So therein lies my dilemma. I've joined another one. So now there's one more online community for me to neglect. And I hate that ... because I've always done my very best to be attentive to those who I'm connected to. At one time it felt overwhelming but now it just saddens me. I'm really not like this! When someone speaks to me, I answer! I expect FetLife to be yet another place where I have to keep fending off requests to meet at the drop of a hat. But who knows ... just maybe it'll be the "special one". After all, a very interesting guy suggested it to me. So, please bear with me, but until I figure out where I really need to be, I'm keeping a presence in too many places for my own good. Wow! What a crazy few weeks it's been. An emotional rollercoaster. And I finally got to meet Tonya. She lives in the city and met up
with us at our hotel. I've always enjoyed her posts in Sarah Lynn's
"Powder Room" on Alt dot com, and finally meeting her was very cool. My darling Kim had the awesome idea of a limo tour of the city so our friends from out of town could see a little more than just the Pride district so she made the arrangements, and with financial support from My barbie, around 10 of us spent a couple hours in a stretch SUV limousine. We stopped a few times for photos and smoke breaks at various locations mostly around the waterfront. Thankfully I was already familiar with the areas we visited because at one point I was distracted by someone's hand under my skirt (Winnie, you little slut! You're the best!)

A Visit From Our Friends from the Desert Just had enough time back at home after Pride to unpack, straighten up the house, restock the refrigerator and booze cooler before heading to the airport to pick up our friends. We had as awesome time with them as we always do and look forward to seeing them again in a couple short months.
Someone Special Someone very important to me passed away. Although I already miss her lots, I'll eventually move on and the great memories will last forever. Rest in Peace, sweetie.

Well, I've decided to start updating my blog again. Not sure why.
Maybe it's therapeutic to some degree to put thoughts down in print.
Maybe it's just another place to vent or to share excitement. I don't
know but I'm giving it another try. And I'm not doing this for feedback .. I've given up on that! I've wrestled with the reasons behind the lack of feedback I get. A comment or two every couple weeks seems disproportionate to the number of visitors I get. In fact, even those closest to me rarely provide feedback or comments. "The handwriting is on the wall, Seleena!" The fun, maybe even the thrill, in doing this was to try to understand and maybe even see into the hearts and souls of the faceless people who visit. But I now understand that you won't permit that. You're more of a mystery to me than I am to you, and it looks like you're going to remain that way. So I'm moving forward without you *giggles* So there! |

Wow .. Anne Stonebrook signed my Guestbook today. Imagine that! My
website!! I'm truly honored. She's my favorite fet/bondage model of all
time, and although no longer in the business, I believe her work is
already considered "classic" and will live forever. Got to meet her back
in the fall and I immediately fell head over heels for the person behind
the persona. I've accumulated a little collection of latexwear (and
those delicious ballet boots) from her in the last year or two. I think

Happy New Year!! Well at the suggestion of some, I've been rather quiet
in updating this blog ("Seleena, if you don't have something relevant to
say, it might be better to say nothing!") but as 2007 draws to a close,
I feel compelled to say a few words. First off, 2007 has been a slightly trying year. I've struggled just a bit to find my place in the world, and the creations of this website is part of that search. Thank gawd my sweetheart is here with me, and together we move forward. On a personal level, I spent too much doing things that are not important to me and too little time doing the things that are. The all-consuming 9 to 5 made it difficult sometimes to be the spouse, the friend and the lover that I desire to be. I lost an old friend, and nearly lost another ... but I got to meet new friends too! I was honored to meet Angel, buffy, hailleigh, Jade, Ross, bunny, Winnie, Sarah, Alicia, Dita, chelle and Delila, and I feel a connection to all of them that only someone in this lifestyle can feel. I also met "My barbie"! :-) Got to spend some time with dearest friends (and serious hottie's) Sara and Mark, although 3 visits in a year is not nearly enough. :-( In 2008, my free time increases dramatically. It's a journey that Kim and I have worked so hard for. We expect to travel a bit more, get our lives organized and into a bit of a routine that allows us to be as impulsive as the situation dictates *giggles*. But regardless of who's doing what between our legs, she's all that's important to me. I plan some changes to this website. The message board experiment was a failure and will be removed, my chatroom availability will increase, I'll install proper Photo Gallery software to save wear and tear on your "back" button and will try to include some dialog with each photo album explaining the situation or my feelings when the photos were taken. I'd love to expand my Friends page .. not many volunteers to date (thank you barbie and Stephanie!) and to do this I might have to solicit. I'd love to include some female content here too (any volunteers?). I'm still coming to grips with the lack of input I receive about the site and it's content. But I'll move forward, for the most part, on my own and let the hits count gauge my success. Thank you everyone for keeping this site alive. It's important to me to think that my URL is bookmarked on a few computers and the occasional mouse click here puts a smile on someone's face. Happy New Year! Hmmm .. let's talk about the future, the future of this website.
Although my friends have been very helpful and very supportive, the
feedback I've been getting outside my circle of friends has been very
light. So although I'm having fun here, I'm really now sure how I'm
doing in your eyes. But I fully realize that if this site was really
really exciting, more would be compelled to comment. So, I'll continue
to use my own judgment .. at least for now. Both the chatroom and message board are very under utilized and I'm wondering if there might be technical issues for some people that prevent them from participating. Time will tell but I'm renaming "Seleena's Private Chatroom" to "Seleena's Chatroom", just in case the word "Private" is making the room seem off limits to anyone. I'm also thinking of asking a few others to contribute to my "Friends" page. Barbie's getting lonely there all by her self :) Am I impatient? You know it! |

My Hooters uniform arrived on Thursday and it's time to take some photos
today. I wasn't sure if I could pull off the look, and am still not after seeing the pics, but I guess they'll appear here anyway. I spent some incredible time chatting online with Barbie and Ross ..
mmmm! And I exchanged email with Alexis Tyrell. It would be so awesome
if she would contribute a photo to my "Friends" page (you know which
photo I'm thinking of, don't ya hon?). I'm learning that the life of a "web bimbo" is challenging, In many things that we do in life, there is some kind of feedback. No so in this world. My daily hits are up and down like a yo-yo and my feedback is nearly non-existent. So I have no real idea how I'm doing. I guess I should stop thinking about this and just go with the flow .. albeit a flow I have to create myself. A commitment to add a new photo album or video each week might be a start. And a wide variety of content might also be wise. Different flavors of wardrobe, Domme pics, subbie pics, bondage. I really hope I don't have to start showing my .. well, you know .. to start getting a reaction! Happy Thanksgiving to my Canadian friends. We all do have a lot to be

Although the number of hits on this site is improving steadily, few people are signing my guest book and my requests for feedback have pretty much gone unanswered. I'd much rather hear bad feedback than no feedback at all. So I'll have to think of ways to engage people .. or maybe just lessen my expectation. I got scurrying around the house this morning and missed the 10:00 start
of my bi-weekly chatroom time. If you came here at 10:00 and found no
chatroom, please accept my apologies. It was 10:06 before it came to

I got to chat briefly with my Australian friend Angie in the GX chatroom
on Alt dot com. It's been a long time .. so glad to hear, and see, that
she's okay. She told me she had viewed this website. I'm a little
nervous about that because Angie has great taste and knows quality ...
and I'm not sure what I've done so far measures up. But she politely
told me she loved it .. and I'll believe her, out of necessity. Maybe
she'll have some suggestions for improvement. I turned my webcam a couple times later in the day. The weather here has been unusually warm, nearly hot, and the temperature inside to too warm to appear on cam fully dressed .. lol .. so I appeared in only a strapless bra, corset, thong, FF stockings and thigh-high boots. Picked up my favorite heels at the shoe repair shop. Very nice job and
quite inexpensive. Actually, I just realized that I'm wearing those very
same heels in the banner photo above. The new heel tips are only
slightly thicker than the original one and I'm blown away at how much of
a difference it makes in the wearability .. but when you're always
pushing the limited of heel height, a little means a lot. I'll spend
several hours in them this weekend to ensure I don't need to move them
to the "bedroom only" closet. |

I won an eBay auction today for a black "Hooters" uniform. Black top,
black shorts, typical Hooters "Tamara" pantyhose, white slouch socks. On
the advice of the seller, I bought size "small" .. yikes, this might be
a bit extreme but we'll see how it goes. Although wearing running shoes
with it might be fun, typically T-girls like me can't wear running shoes
and maintain the right balance. The effect of high heels is to
lessen the distance between the tips of the toes and the heels (the
higher the heel, the more pronounced the effect is) thereby making the
foot appear smaller .. more "lady-like. Running shoes don't do this, so
since I'll likely wear heels with the uniform, a black uniform seemed
best. A photo album will appear here somewhere down the road. |

Put on a slinky wet-look red dress, black pantyhose and open-toe strappy
black shoe (with chrome stiletto heels) and spent a few hours on webcam

Oct 20th. Northbound Leather's biggest annual party is called "Switch"
this year. I need to decide soon if it's possible to attend. The thought

Drove out to Casa Grande in the morning to meet a retired fetish/bondage
model who I've been buying lots of clothes from recently. She's even

about their character and the size of their egos. She was a refreshing
surprise .. truly a classy lady. I understand how life takes us
all in different directions and have total respect for her decision to
leave the industry, but it's a great loss nonetheless. Then it was "Photo Time". Did several photo sets with Mark, "photographer extraordinaire". I'm thrilled with the results and will be posting a few teasers here soon. Thank you Mark .. you're a sweetie! again, it felt like a freak show .. and we were the
freaks. *giggles* But ce la vie! There was no disrespect towards
us at all, and many friendly comments .. .especially from women. Maybe
it's time I change my look in an attempt to "pass" ... nawwwww! In my
opinion, there's nothing I, or many of my "sisters", could do to come
close to appearing like an attractive woman. And presenting as the
average "today's woman" is just not something that interests me.
I'm sure most
TV/CD's can relate to this although most TS's (pre-op, post-op or
non-op) would strongly disagree. I just prefer times when women never
left the house without hosiery and makeup ... regardless of the time of
day or season. Sandals and bare feet were left for the beach ..
and glamorous was what you were or, at least, tried to be, and not something
you occasionally "did". I guess it's obvious that for some of us, it's
all about the dressing.
